Payouts and statements

How Stageboxx pays out what you sell, how often, and what the statement you receive with each payout says.

Overview

Stageboxx collects the payment from your buyers on your behalf and holds it until what you sold has been delivered: for tickets, once the event has taken place. Then it is paid out to your payout account, less the Stageboxx fees for what is paid out and any open Stageboxx invoices.

Each payout comes with a statement, emailed as a PDF to your organisation's email address. It cannot be changed afterwards.

Key concepts

Every week

The Stageboxx default. What is delivered by Sunday 23:59 is stated the Monday after and paid out within 10 banking days of the event.

Every month

What is delivered by the end of the month is stated early the next month and paid out after the statement. Stageboxx can set this for your organisation.

Statement

What was held, what was deducted for Stageboxx invoices, what is paid out and when, your sales VAT per rate, and every line, grouped per event, product or course.

Setting up your payout account

1

Open the payout tab

Go to Team, then Organization, and open the Payout account tab. You need the Owner or Admin role to change it.

2

Accept the organiser terms if asked

If the tab shows the organiser terms, read them and accept them on the organisation's behalf. Until then the account cannot be added or changed.

3

Enter the account

Choose bankgiro, plusgiro, bank account or IBAN and fill in the number. Save and confirm via email.

4

Confirm by email

Open the link we email you within 15 minutes. Everyone with the Owner or Admin role is told about the change, and payouts to a new account start after a few days.

Seeing when you are paid

Under Payout schedule on the same tab you see your rhythm, the current period and the date of the next statement and payout. To change between weekly and monthly, contact Stageboxx support.

Fees at the payout

The Stageboxx fees for what a payout covers are invoiced at that same payout, on an invoice called Fees at payout, and deducted there, so you receive the net amount at once instead of an invoice a month later. Fees follow delivery: for an event once it has taken place, for a lesson once it has been held. The statement shows the deduction, and the monthly invoice does not charge the same fees again.

When a payout is held

  • Your organisation number, VAT status or VAT number is missing. The statement cannot be issued without them. Fill them in under Company details and both go out at the next run.
  • A new or changed payout account is still in its waiting days, or a change is waiting for a second person to approve it.
  • The account has been frozen. Nothing is paid out until Stageboxx has gone through it with you.
  • F-tax is not recorded, or has not been checked recently.

Frequently asked questions

We were paid monthly before. What changed?

Payouts are now weekly by default, so you get a statement for each week in which something was delivered. Nothing is counted twice: a line on an earlier statement never appears again.

The payout is lower than our sales.

Open Stageboxx invoices to you are deducted from the payout, and the statement lists them. If the invoices are larger than what was held, nothing is paid out that week and the rest is stated again next time.

Why is an event not on this week's statement?

Ticket money is paid out once the event's last performance has taken place. A cancelled event is never paid out: the money belongs to the ticket holders and is refunded.

Which name is on the statement?

Your legal name, organisation number and VAT number, or Not VAT-registered.

Why is there a fee invoice with every payout?

The fees for what was paid out are invoiced and deducted at the same payout. The invoice is already settled by the deduction; you do not need to pay it separately.
