Account & Settings

Manage your account, vendor profile, team members, and notification preferences.

Overview

Stageboxx supports multiple account types, each with different capabilities. Whether you're a customer buying tickets, a vendor managing events, or an administrator overseeing the platform — your account settings let you customize your experience.

All account management is done through the web interface. Changes take effect immediately.

Account types

Customer

Browse events, purchase tickets, view order history, and manage your personal profile. Created automatically when you register or complete your first purchase.

Vendor

Create and manage events, sell tickets, view sales reports, manage stock, handle accounting, and build your public vendor page. Includes all customer capabilities.

Team management

Add people to your organization, control what they can do, and remove access when they leave. Everything below lives under Team in the sidebar.

Add a team member

1

Go to Team → Members

Then choose Add member.

2

Find them, or invite them

If they already have a contact record in your organization, search for and select them. If they're new, invite them by email instead — they'll create an account and get access once they accept.

3

Assign a role

New members get the default Staff role automatically. Swap it for Admin if they need broader access, or a custom role if they need something narrower — see below.

Give someone a narrower role

The built-in roles (Owner, Admin, Staff) are broad on purpose — Staff alone includes ticket management, event editing, and more. If someone only needs one specific capability, a custom role scoped to just that permission is the right tool.

1

Create the role

Team → Roles → create a new role and grant it only the specific permission(s) the person needs — for example, just “Access ticket scanner” for door staff who shouldn't also get full ticket management.

2

Assign it to the person

Team → Members → select them → Roles → assign the role you just created.

3

Remove the broader default role

Permissions in Stageboxx are additive — holding both the default Staff role and your new narrower role means they keep Staff's broader access too. Remove Staff from their assignments if they should only have the narrower role.

One rule to know: you can only grant a permission you already hold yourself — this stops anyone from handing out access they don't have.

Positions

Positions are separate from roles — they're labels for scheduling and staffing (e.g. “Sound engineer”, “Door staff”), not permissions. Assign them from Team → Positions or from a member's own page.

Remove access

Team → Members → select the person → remove them. This revokes their access immediately; it doesn't delete their contact record or past activity.

Notification settings

Control which email notifications you receive. Consent management ensures you only get messages you've opted into.

  • •Order confirmations — Always sent (required for purchase receipts)
  • •Marketing emails — Opt-in only. Receive updates about events and promotions from vendors you follow
  • •Vendor notifications — For vendors: sale alerts, stock warnings, and team activity updates

Frequently asked questions

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Contact support to request account deletion. If you're a vendor, all active events must be completed or cancelled first. Your personal data will be removed in accordance with GDPR.

How do I change my email address?

Go to your account settings and update your email. You'll need to verify the new email address by clicking the confirmation link sent to your new inbox.

How do I add a team member?

Navigate to Team Management in your vendor settings. Enter the team member's email and select their role. They'll receive an invitation email to join your organization.

Can I be part of multiple vendor organizations?

Currently, each account is associated with one vendor organization. If you need to manage events for multiple organizations, you would need separate accounts for each.
